Superficial peeler for all skin type

This type of beauty mask can be especially beneficial if your skin is sluggish and does not regularly slough off its dead layer of skin cells. Very often that 'pasty' look comes from nothing more exotic than the tenaciousness of this layer. As soon as the dead skin cells are removed, the delightful surprise of a fresh, young-looking skin is immediately discernible.Superficial peelers can be used with great success once every couple of mouths (or oftener, if you like). Simple substitute one of them for a regular beauty mask during your facial.

Papaya Peeler

1/4 papaya

Mash the fresh papaya with a fork and apply to face. The enzymes in the fruit sort of “eat up” the dead layer of the skin and you emerge rosy and shining.

Oatmeal Peeler

1 cup oatmeal (not instant or one-minute)

Pulverize meal in blender or mash fine and put in large bowl. Holding face over bowl, scoop oatmeal up in you hands and “dry wash” face. The abrasive action of the meal effectively removes the dead skin layer.

Salt Peeler

1/2 cup table salt

Wet washcloth with warm water. Sprinkle with salt and work slightly into cloth. Wet face with warm water. Gently scrub face with washcloth – one area at a time, avoiding eye area completely – until soft, smooth and glowing. Don not rub hard, this is a very effective peeler but must be used with care.

Sugar Peel

1 tbsp white granulated sugar
1 1/2 tbsp glycerin

Mix both in your palm and then scrub gently on your face with fingertips. Avoid eye area completely. Wash with warm water.
