Skin care basic 1 2 3

Skin is an organ and the largest organ of our entire body. This organ, which is 98% protein, is not only large but complex as well. One square inch of skin contains about three meters of blood vessels, three hundred sweat glands, twelve meters of nerves, six hundred nerve endings, thirty hairs, and forty-five oil glands. In consideration of health and beauty with the above data in mind, you will understand how important to care for our skin.

A healthy and beautiful skin is soft to touch and yet firm with elasticity. It is moist, with a definite acid balance. It is smooth and fine-grained in texture. It should be uniform and glows in color. These are the attributes we look for in our skin.

Even if you have all the best inherited skin by basic, we all have to face the reality of aging which changes our skin with time. Beautiful skin, no matter what type of skin you have, demands constant care to resist the aging process. The earlier you start, the better. You’ll notice the loss of elasticity first in your neck. This is a warning signal, and the face is next. Massaging properly with moisturizing creams will help tone the underlying muscles of the face and slow down the inevitable. We can’t stop the process of aging, but should do our best to slow it down. Therefore it is essential to maintain a healthy skin that is cleansed, toned, moisturized and cared for everyday of our life.

Caring for the skin externally is not everything that the skin requires to stay young and beautiful. A nutritious, balanced diet is crucial too. Lots of protein – lean meats, fish, poultry, and eggs – plus fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and adequate quantities of water; all help to keep you strong, healthy and functioning efficiently from the inside. Malfunctioning internally is adversely affected on your skin elasticity, texture and color.

The last but not the least thing to complete your skin care package is exercise. The fitness of the rest of your body is reflected in the appearance of your skin. Exercise stimulates all internal organs to function smoothly. It helps to distribute the nutrients, tones the muscles, and eradicates fatigue and stress.

Care for the health of your whole body from outside to inside. Your skin, and its resulting health and beauty, will surely make you stand out from the crowd.

Massage technique for moisturizing cream

Below are 4 different methods of face massage with moisturizing cream. Use any one of them which you find more comfortable with, use the middle and ring finger of both hands. It will help the cream to penetrate while hydrating your skin. You skin will becomes soft, fresh and alive.

The basic function of moisturizing cream is to lubricate, soften and mositurize the skin and protect it from the elemensts.

One of the purpose of "moisturize" is to add moisture to or holding the water in the cream in close contact with skin for a brief moment. But since water evaporates very quickly, so the value of its moisturizing function is minimal. The greatest importance of a mosturizing cream seems to be in its ability to form a light, transparent film over the skin's surface which acts as a barrier so that water being sent to the skin from the inside by way of the underlying tissues doesn't evaporate.

To apply moisturizing creams, use a deep, upward and outward massage motion. This can stimulates the circulation of the blood which mourishes the skin and all its structures. A deep massage can stimulate and strengthen muscle fiber, prmotes glandular activity that tends to reduce fat cells.

How to apply cleansing cream

The main purpose of a cleansing cream is to remove make-up, surface grime, and accumlated oils from the face and throat. Other than gets you clean on the outside, you get and internal cleaning too. As you gently massage the cream onto your face, the circulation of the blood is increased, bringing oxygen to the surface to feed the skin. Then, on the return trip, the blood takes along with it and any waste products that may be hiding near the surface. If, before you remove the cream, you gently scrub the face with a natural bristle complexsion brush, you can effectively remove dead skin cells that have accumulated on the surface waiting to be sloughed off. Use a circular motion when you use a brush to massage.

Moisturizing cream

The basic function of moisturizing cream is to lubricate, soften and moisturize the skin and protect it from the elements.

Water is important for all skin type. Experiments showed that when chapped dry skins were treated with oils alone the condition was not improved. However, when water was added or conserved in the skin, the problem was alleviated at once.
The greatest importance of a moisturizing cream is not only to add moisture to skin, it is its ability to form a light, transparant film over the skin surface which acts as a barriers to retain the moisture of skin.

Different skin type requires different treatment to acquire a desirable result. The selection of oil to be used in making of moisturizing cream should be careful. Penetrating vegetable oil is perfect by stimulating and replenishing the natural oil of normal and dry skin and nonpenetrating mineral oils is ideal to protect the surface without stimulating the natural oils of oily skin.
