Cover-ups for Trouble skin

It's much healthier for a trouble skin to go naked (with just a drying agent to aid healing). However, there are times when you want to cover eruptions and the following recipes will allow you to do so, without subjecting your skin to the impurities of makeup.

Neutracolor Cover-up

4 tbsp pure cornstarch
Tiny pinch of neutracolor
1 tbsp witch hazel
1 tbsp camphor water

Mash powders and witch hazel with a mortar and pestle. When it becomes a smooth paste, add camphor water and put in small jar.

Benzoin Cover-up

4 tbsp fuller's earth
2 tbsp rose water
1/2 tsp tincture of benzoin

Mix rose water into talcum to form a paste. Blend in enough tincture of benzoin to get desired shade. When you put this in a jar, it will harden. Wet finger and rub for each application.

Your Own Foundation Cover-up

1 bottle medicated foundation (no rosy shades)
Calamine lotion

Pour 1/3 to 1/2 of the foundation out. Fill bottle with calamine lotion and shake
